Afrin A. is a postdoctoral fellow in the Wentz Lab. She received her PhD in Chemistry from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, India, in 2026. Her doctoral research focused on the design of functional organic materials and the modulation of solid-state emissive properties in carbazole-based donor–acceptor systems. Her work explored structure–property relationships in organic solid-state emitters, including aggregation-induced emission, mechanochromism, and main-group organometallic hybrids, with potential applications in optoelectronics.
